The Youngstown Foundation Gives Capital Gift To The Food Bank

Youngstown, OH (December 30, 2005) The Youngstown Foundation presented a check in the amount of $20,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank for pavement of the parking lot at 2805 Salt Springs Road in Youngstown. "We are appreciative to The Youngstown Foundation for their gift to re-pave the parking lot at the Food Bank," said Michael Iberis, executive director. "They are the largest contributor to our capital campaign having given $ 70,000 for capital improvements to our facility. We are grateful for their continued support in helping to feed hungry families in our community."

Second Harvest Food Bank provides food to 212 hunger relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
