Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley extends a sincere thank you to WFMJ-TV, area businesses, individuals, schools and Sparkle Market for making Project Feed Our Valley a resounding success!
The effort raised nearly $30,000 and collected over 40,000 pounds of food to help feed hungry families in our community. This campaign helped us distribute 5.3 million pounds of food in 2007. Simply put, we could not do what we do without the unwavering support of this community.

If you are in need of food and live in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, please call Help Hotline by dialing 211 or 330-747-2696. If you live in Trumbull County, you may dial Contact at 211 for assistance. Help Hotline and Contact have a list of Food Bank member agencies in your community where you may receive food. |

ABF U-PACK A BACKPACK VIRTUAL FOOD DRIVE
ABF U-Pack Moving is hosting a virtual food drive to send childhood hunger packing. Please visit www.U-PackaBackPack.org to make your virtual donation and help feed hungry children in our community.
March 1-31 – Harvest for Hunger – Harvest for Hunger is a month-long food and funds drive that takes place in 19 counties in Northeast Ohio. All food collected and funds raised here stay here to feed hungry families in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Click here for a list of ways you can participate in Harvest For Hunger.

July 13 and August 24 – Free Tickets to Mahoning Valley Scrappers Games – Any fan that brings 2 non-perishable food items to the game(s) will get in FREE! Gates open at 5 p.m. and the games start at 6 p.m. Stay after the game and enjoy a post-game fireworks show!
July 25th - Second Harvest Food Bank Night – Interested in attending a Mahoning Valley Scrappers Game? Why not attend the game and help feed hungry families at the same time?! On July 25, for each ticket purchased, the Scrappers will donate $2 to the Food Bank. Please click here to download the ticket form. Deadline to order a ticket is Friday July 18. *Please note the Food Bank will only receive ticket proceeds from tickets purchased through this downloadable flyer.
